Dive into an in-depth study of Artistic Anatomy and improve your understanding of what makes a life drawing more life-like. With Wyatt’s help not only will you have an opportunity to refine your basic techniques, but you'll also delve into the old master’s use of anatomy and how to improve proportion, volume and symmetry. A 6-week class, in which each session builds on the previous, sparked by a specific artist or artwork from the past where you'll explore lighting, poses, and foundational techniques.

This is more than a class; it's an artistic adventure open to all, from beginners to seasoned artists.

This class will begin with an in-depth overview of the foundation techniques of basic figure drawing and progress towards helping students finish more “complete” drawings. Students will be introduced to strategies for laying the groundwork for a more developed figure drawing through anatomy, proportion and structure. Working directly from a nude model, each class students will use charcoal on paper.

Lectures and demos will support the goals of the class.
