Studio Paradiso is the arts studio of Wyatt Landis, an atelier for students of all levels, and a valued resource for experienced artists.

Studio Paradiso is well established, well equipped and well run. It is a clean, warm, and comfortable environment, known for consistently having the most professional models available. We look to the Renaissance for guidance in regards to a value system based on skill, technique, innovation, narrative and emotional content. We believe in constant and consistent practice, but take time to balance art with life.

Currently, we offer both figure drawing classes with instruction and non-instructional drawing groups with live models.

We are located at 1000 East Madison Street, on the corner of Seneca and Madison, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.

Please note that in order to model or attend the drawing sessions you must be at least 18 years old, or provide a written letter by a parent granting permission to attend/model.

We occupy a stand-alone triangular building across the street from Seattle University. Centrally located, we have walking distance access to Metro bus lines #12, #2 and #49. https://kingcounty.gov/depts/transportation/metro/schedules-maps.aspx. Coming from the University District we recommend the Light Rail which stops 5 blocks away at the Broadway terminal and is a quick 10 minute walk to the Studio https://www.soundtransit.org. Also we now have a trolley that travels northbound from the International District and drops passengers off just 2 blocks from the Studio https://seattlestreetcar.org. If concerned about travel time, then here is one resource: https://www.seattletraffic.org

If you are attending one of our weekly evening drop-in sessions you may park (for free) in the drive-thru area of our downstairs neighboring business, Phillip’s Cleaners. However, please be warned that you must park only after the cleaners are closed at 7PM, otherwise you will be towed. Just make sure that your vehicle is not blocking the sidewalk and park after 7PM. Enjoy our complimentary parking.
